Price methodology

roMarketDB records observations in Zeny per unit on Skadi. These are reference points, not guaranteed valuations or offers to buy or sell.

Recent observations and historical prices

The rolling windows are 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days. Within each window, the median is calculated per observation, without weighting by quantity. The sample count describes observations, not independent buyers or completed transactions.

When a window has no eligible observations, a displayed “Last known” price is historical and retains its original date. “Unknown” means there is no eligible price available. Zero is a valid observation and differs from unknown.

Evidence types

A shop asking price records what a seller requested, not proof of a completed sale. Historical records retain their original provenance. An aggregate of different observations must not be read as a confirmed-sale median.

Check the price-data table for individual dates and sources. Multiple observations do not establish a guaranteed market value.

Popular sorting

With a search, exact ID and name matches come first, followed by names starting with your search. Within equally relevant results, and when browsing without a search, Popular uses recent search interest. An exact search or opening a matching search result counts once per item, browser and UTC day. The last 7 days have triple weight within a 30-calendar-day window; at least 3 distinct browsers are required per item. Market observation days and price freshness provide the fallback and break ties. Interest applies to the item across its configurations, while market activity is specific to each configuration.

Refreshes, page changes and filter changes do not count as searches. Interest records contain only the item, date and a hashed browser identifier; search text is not stored in these records, and records older than the window are removed when new interest is recorded. Popular does not measure completed sales or guarantee current availability.

Matching configurations

Price groups match the base item, refinement and inserted cards. The base price group is +0 with no inserted cards. Known and uninspected enchants or random options can share that group: a median does not establish their absence or an exact match. Refined and carded equipment has separate price groups.
